Flight tracking is exciting for several reasons. As an aviation fan, you can track flights just with one free flight radar app from your smartphone or tablet. You get more information about the current flight status than at the airport. If your friends or family are on a plane, you can easily track their flight online in real time. The practical thing is that this easy flight tracker app helps you get to the airport in time should a flight landed earlier or be delayed. Are you wondering how it is possible that all this information appears live on your smartphone or tablet? Most modern aircraft have an ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast) transponder installed. This transponder then transmits the air traffic information to a network of ground stations around the world, so that you can see the exact current flight position and details about the aircraft.
