Bay View Academy is a co-educational private school located in Karachi, Pakistan. It is registered with the University of Cambridge for O-level examination purposes. Ms. Safia Shaikh and Mr. Shahpur Jamall established Bay View Academy in 1990. Ms. Shaikh was at the time running Shaikh’s Montessori, a very highly regarded Montessori school established in 1984. Mr. Jamall returned to Karachi with an M.Ed. in Education from UCLA in 1989. The school initially began as a Pre-Primary to Junior school, with classes from Nursery to Class VI, and the Senior School was established in 1999. In 2013, Bay View opened a new branch in Clifton followed by the PECHS branch in 2015. Bay View Academy currently has three campuses across the city with approximately 1600 students.
