Sailing in areas with significant tides and currents requires good planning. It's no fun to sail against strong currents, and even less fun to run aground coming into a cove on low tide. Plan Your Sail lets you see predicted Tide and Current conditions along pre-defined routes at different Dates and Times. This helps you quickly pick the best date and time to take a particular sailing trip, or alternately, to pick the best trip for a specific day. Plan Your Sail uses NOAA data for tides and currents and, as such, works only in the United States. Plan Your Sail is not to be used for Navigation.
