Do you believe in fairies? Let's meet the magical creatures who look after the grounds and wildlife of Weston Park to make it beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
Just look on the map in this app to find the starting points of six learning trails. You'll see a magical marker with a reminder of each of our characters. Hit the scan button on the app and scan the marker. Our magical character will welcome you and give you four tasks to complete. Tick the boxes as you complete the tasks.
Complete each trail and you'll open up a special, fun magical filter, a selfie frame so you can show your friends what you've done at Weston Park and more information about our magical characters.
As the App functionality is based on face detection, in order to use our App You need to enable Your camera. However, all images taken by your mobile phone camera shall be processed solely on your device and shall not be sent to our servers, i.e. we do not have access to such images (we will not collect, share or store them).

This version of BiomechTools is for University of Winchester Students (UK). It is free to download and is activated via an access code (please ask your tutor).
BiomechTools is making it easier to get to grips with biomechanics. The app automatically tracks human movement, and so removes the need for hours of manual digitising.
Use the capture menu to choose which side of the body you wish to record (whole body, or just left or right side) and specify the name of the output file, which is really useful for adding trial numbers etc.
This version of BiomechTools allows you to process images and videos recorded on your device. Videos can be collected at any sample rate but processing is limited to 1080 frames.
Note! We don’t suggest using a device any older than an iPhone 8.
Following capture, you will be given the option to export the .csv data file to all the usual places. Any points that go out of view are replaced with NaN’s (not a number). At the moment it is not possible to export the video data so we recommend doing a screen record if this is useful.
