We've all been there. You want to learn a new language, open a textbook, and find yourself staring at sentences that have nothing to do with your life. Sure, knowing how to say "A cow is grazing in the field" is great, but it won't help when you need to tell someone to get back in line after they've cut in front of you. Well Said lets you record sentences you actually use in your daily life—those things you wish you knew how to say on the spot but didn't have the words for. It’s about breaking down those barriers that stop you from speaking naturally. Simply record anything you'd like to say in your mother tongue, and the app translates your words into the language you're learning. It creates a flashcard for each sentence, so you can review and learn to speak like a local, one real-life sentence at a time. How to: Record it - Well Said is your personal language sidekick, designed to make learning a breeze. Just hit that record button and speak your mind. The app will magically detect your mother tongue and translate your words into the language you’re learning. The only thing you need to set is the 'Target Language' in the menu—your soon-to-be second language. It’s that simple. No rocket science here, just pure linguistic AI magic! Swipe it - Every time you record a new sentence, 'Well Said' creates a shiny new flashcard and adds it to your growing stack. Want to review your flashcards in the order you recorded them? Swipe left for the newest gems, swipe right to stroll down memory lane. Prefer a surprise? Turn on ‘Random Card Order’ in the menu and get a random flashcard every swipe. It’s like linguistic roulette, but with fewer losses and more gains. Say it - The more you use the app, the bigger and better your vocabulary grows. Need to hear the correct pronunciation? Just tap the speaker icon and let your device show off its verbal prowess (pro tip: install the advanced language modules in settings for a smoother, more natural voice). When you’ve mastered a card, you can tap the ‘x’ in the top right corner to send it packing. And if you ever want to brag about your progress or need your sentences on your computer, export them into a handy file. Let's turn learning into a fun, rewarding journey—one sentence at a time. Additional Details: - Advanced Voice Modules: To get that perfect pronunciation, make sure to install Apple’s advanced language modules. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Speech > Voices. Pick the best one and let your ears enjoy. - Easy Deletion: Clean up your flashcard deck by simply tapping the 'x' on any card. - Export Feature: Keep your sentences handy by exporting them to an Excel file whenever you want. Enjoy the ride and remember, every word you learn is a step closer to speaking like a native. Well Said - because you’ve got something to say, and we’ll help you say it right!
