Deutsche Oper am Rhein invites you to experience opera and ballet in augmented reality. Come closer and experience our content in a new digital environment. We enable insights into our opera house, fly with the drone, enter the stage in 360°, enjoy music and dance directly in front of you at the opera house.
HOW DOES THE APP WORK?
Around the Opera House you will find several information boards with QR codes. Download the OpAR app and scan the info boards at the Opera House with your smartphone or tablet. Various content will appear on the screen in augmented reality. Walk through the different info panels and discover the diversity of the opera.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Deutsche Oper am Rhein provides insights into the opera house and arouses curiosity about dance and music and the content behind the opera house façade. Augmented reality is used to create a new approach to art.
WHAT DOES "AUGMENTED REALITY" MEAN?
"Augmented reality" means "augmented reality." With this technology, we can place images, videos and more in real space, so that the present and digital content combine.
Life-size you can see an opera singer singing in front of you or a ballet dancer balancing on the balcony of the house.
TECHNICAL NOTES
It's best to download the app before your visit to the opera house with wifi. More images and the audio track will be downloaded on site, make sure your mobile data volume is sufficient.

WHAT IS FLEXY?
flexy is Rheinbahn's new on-demand service. The environmentally friendly and comfortable cars travel when and where you order them - without a fixed timetable or route.
WHERE DOES FLEXY RUN?
The service covers the Düsseldorf districts of Gerresheim, Ludenberg, Hubbelrath, Knittkuhl and Unterbach - so we also better connect the Wildpark, Rennbahn and Unterbacher See to
our network. In addition, the stops "Staufenplatz", "Gerresheim-S" and "Vennhauser Allee" are included.
HOW DOES FLEXY WORK?
You book your ride request via the app. You can get on or off the bus flexibly at around 800
virtual stops within the area, and other passengers can also join you on the way, optimizing the routes.

The line distance between start and destination is charged fairly, subscribers as well as children and people with disabilities receive a discount.
The vehicles are environmentally friendly London Cabs with hybrid drive and space for up to six passengers.
