Introducing Skye™: A fitness tracker for your brain.
Skye™, an innovative creation by KeyWise AI™, serves as your brain's personal fitness tracker, continually evaluating your clarity of thinking. It passively gathers data about your typing patterns as you go about your daily smartphone activities, such as composing emails, engaging on social media, and sending text messages—no need for quizzes, games, or special activities.
Skye calculates your unique Clarity Score™ using scientifically validated methods, which is continuously updated throughout the day. It's essential to note that your Clarity Score is neither inherently "good" nor "bad"; it simply reflects your typical thinking and processing patterns. Furthermore, by monitoring changes in your Clarity Score over time, Skye empowers you to identify patterns with various events, shifts in health, lifestyle adjustments, or external factors like medications that may influence your Clarity Score.
The reliability of Skye's assessments is underpinned by research support from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and the National Institute on Aging (NIA). Peer-reviewed studies conducted at renowned universities, including the University of Illinois, University of California San Diego, Rutgers, and University of Texas at Dallas, have confirmed the validity of Skye’s methods. Skye has also gained recognition in leading publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Rolling Stone, ESPN Sports Center, and TEDx Chicago.
At KeyWise AI, safeguarding your security and privacy is our utmost priority. While Skye analyzes your typing patterns, it never accesses or stores the content of your messages or any personal information. In other words, Skye collects data on how you type, not the words you type, and never requests or collects your personal data.

Traditional randomised controlled trials (RCTs) often do not adequately capture change during treatment, largely due to limitation inherent to RCT methodology. One such limitation is the use of infrequently administered outcome assessments, which do not have the precision to predict or measure outcomes. These measures often do not possess the temporal resolution necessary to assess individual-level change in neurobehavioral symptoms that vary by time and context (e.g., cognitive performance different at home vs. in the clinic). The NeuroUX app is designed to make it easier for researchers to use mobile technologies to study cognitive processes over time, in the “real world.” Our platform is currently being used in several federally-funded studies, including RCTs. The NeuroUX app supports:
- Mobile cognitive testing,
- Experience sampling
- Ecological momentary assessments (EMA; full-length surveys or microEMA methodology)
- Investigator dashboard’ with scheduling functionalities and real-time access to data.
