HIV-Recreational & Narcotics vs BHIVA Guidelines Usage & Stats

Application Description: This application was developed with funding from the Northeast/Caribbean AIDS Education and Training Center Program and was designed for practicing clinicians to provide information on HIV medications and drug interactions with commonly co-prescribed Opioids, Medication Assisted Treatment, Recreational Substances, and Reversal medications. The four tabs at the bottom of the application include: HIV-Opioid, MAT, Reversal Medication Interactions, HIV-Recreational Drug Interactions, Drug Metabolism, and Common Web Resources. The Common Web Resources tab contains links to external websites and phone numbers for information and national warmlines that provide clinical support with HIV care, substance use, Hepatitis C, and COVID‐19. The data set for the drug interaction output for this application was developed using the Department of Health and Human Services Guidelines for the Use of Antiretroviral Agents in Adults and Adolescents Living with HIV and other various sources. The application was developed and launched under the direction of VirologyEd Consultants, LLC. THE ALL NEW BHIVA GUIDELINES MOBILE APPLICATION Since the 1990s, BHIVA has been producing guidelines for the management of HIV infection, which, while primarily intended for the use of UK physicians, have international influence. Guidelines are published, in HIV Medicine and are also available on the BHIVA iOS app, BHIVA mobile website (http://bhivaguidelines.org/) BHIVA website (http://www.bhiva.org/guidelines.aspx). The Guidelines encompass the treatment of antiretroviral diseases and specific guidelines on the management of TB and hepatitis co-infected individuals, transplantation, immunisation, malignancy, opportunistic infections, reproductive and sexual health and pregnancy.
