The IADC has approved our simulator for use as a classroom replacement to any other well control simulator. Our simulator meets all guidelines for classroom simulator use as detailed in the IADC WellSharp Well Control guidelines. For classroom practice, every student can use our simulator to engage in classroom simulation exercises. To use our simulator meet your classroom simulator requirements, simply list our simulator in your application or update for IADC accreditation. -------------------------------------- Why is your simulator better than the well control simulators I’ve used in the past? -------------------------------------- Unlike other simulator companies that rely on 1980s era technology, our simulator was built in 2018 - for the mobile age! Our simulator is truly a simulator for the modern era. First, you can use our simulator on any device - iPad, iPhone, or any computer connected to the internet. As a result, you no longer have to rely on large, bulky, physical hardware that is difficult and expensive to transport. Our simulators are much more convenient to transport and use! Second, our simulators have substantially less technical support required than any existing hardware simulators! Existing simulators are built on 1980s era technology and proprietary hardware that is challenging to use and difficult to fix when it goes wrong. We’re using devices that everyone is familiar with - if our simulator doesn’t work, just go to the Apple Store! Third, our simulator lets students practice without having an instructor present! We have a Virtual Instructor build into our software system who walks students through simulation exercises with step-by-step hints and guidance. In the classroom, students get to see a fantastic instructor. But, when the instructor doesn’t have the time or isn’t around, students can practice until perfect with our virtual instructor. Lastly, our simulation lets you practice anywhere, anytime. Your students can do simulation exercises at home before class, in the classroom, and on the rig in between the 2-year well control cycle. Now, everyone can have unlimited simulator time. -------------------------------------- What simulations does this simulation cover? -------------------------------------- The simulator covers all IADC required simulations for the Driller and Supervisor Level Drilling, Workover/Completions, and Well Servicing Well Control courses. This includes Drilling, Driller’s Method, Wait and Weight Method, and Bullheading with kill problems. Specifically, the Driller Level simulation contains the following simulations: Line up BOP Panel, Line up Choke Panel, Line up Standpipe Manifold, Line up Choke Manifold, Line up Trip Tank, Check/Set Pressures, Set Pit Volume Alarm, Set Return Flow Alarm, Drill Ahead and detect a Kick Warning Sign, Flow Check, and Drill Ahead and Detect a Kick Indicator. This is a project for Drilling and Well Control optimized for iPhones and iPads. This is a basic drilling simulator that simulates drilling operations based in panels for kick detection, shut-in the well, stabilization of pressures and the choke operations during the well control operations using a hydraulic choke panel simulator. Features: 1. Drilling, kick detection, shut-in, pressures stabilization and control 2. MULTIPLE KICKS (3 SINGLE BUBBLES) 3. DIRECTIONAL/HORIZONTAL WELL 4. WELL CONTROL ON CHOKE PANEL WITH 2 REMOTE CHOKES 5. Standpipe Manifold and Choke Manifold 6. FLOAT VALVE, 7. GESTURE SWAIPE UP/DOWN TO MOVE DRILLSTRING 8. FAILURES SCHEDULE WITH RANDOM OPTION (Mud Pumps 1 and 2 “power end failure” or “fluid end failure”, Chokes 1 and 2 “plugged” or “washed”, One Drill Bit Nozzle “plugged” or “washed”) 9. Swabbing effect simulation This effect occur when the drill string is pulled out of the wellbore to reduce the bottom hole pressure enough to create an underbalance condition and to cause a flow from formation into the wellbore. This effect is performed on this Simulator by moving the finger up in the well layout on the screen. iPad version: 1. Pre-recorded data view 2. Screen layout optimized for 12.9-inch iPad Pro (High Resolution) 3. Three codes (default "0000" for all: admin, instructor, student) to view the gas into the borehole, the pressure at bottom, at shoe and at bop and to enable / disable the Lag Time (by adjusting the choke to change the kill pressure and drill pipe pressure, etc). 4. Use the arrow keys on keyboard for iPad Pro to operate the choke. iPhone version: 1. Pre-recorded data available in the well configuration views. 2.
