Horse Records vs Bush Telegraph Usage & Stats
Horse Records is an industry recognised program that is utilised by more than 10 of Australia’s top feedlots and processing reports for Horse related compliance measures. The app is the first of its kind that stores and creates; horse movement data and vaccination information all in one safe and secure cloud. Horse Records is a multi-accessible program that can be accessed from both your computer and hand-held smart device.
The program creates Horse Movements and maintains Vaccination histories in-line with the biosecurity measures for each state and territory in Australia.
Why Use Horse Records?
1. Horse Records is a multi-accessible platform that can be used from home or on-site in any location. We have developed the platform for a variety of different users, whether you’re the owner of a feedlot and need to fulfil your compliance measures or just moving your horse from home to work, Horse Records allows a large variety of users to access and use the app with efficiency. Simply click on your desired horse, select your desired destination and add the expected arrival date and time and then click save.
2. Horse Records keeps vaccination histories within the system that can be viewed at any time with the assistance of your veterinarian. The history can be sorted by type, due date and expiry date. The system uses a colour-based system to update users on the on specific vaccinations. Green indicating that the Horse does not the vaccination, yellow indicating that there is there is a vaccination coming soon and red indicating that a vaccination has expired.
3. You can add locations and horses easily with the add function. This easily allows you to create location history in line with the 2014 Biosecurity Act for any of your owned Horses.

- Automatic email notifications of re-assessments for your organisations workers who are Horse Riders
- Horse Rider Assessments registers sent to your email
- Traceability Reports with the location history of any horse/s in the unlikely case of a disease breakout that satisfy the Biosecurity Act of 2014.
Incident Reporting that satisfies workplace health and safety standards.

The Bush Telegraph is an app that allows you and your community to share information about emergency incidents. Crowd-sourced and real time!
You can:
Receive real time notifications of any incidents posted by your fellow Community members.
Update incidents with photos or comments.
Record new incidents that your Community should know about.
The Bush Telegraph has been designed and developed, and is owned by a non-profit community volunteer run organisation - the Megalong Valley Community and Landowners Association - with funding from the Bushfire Community Recovery and Resilience Fund (administered by Resilience NSW in partnership with the National Recovery and Resilience Agency and Emergency Management Australia) to help our community and other similar rural communities be more resilient in the face of emergencies.
