GEM Client vs Summon [Lab11] Usage & Stats

GEM Client is an all-in-one mobile client that includes Alert, Panic, and Check-In features that work in conjunction with Genasys' critical and emergency communication platform: GEM Enterprise, an emergency communications solution that is purchased by an organization to protect its employees, contractors, and visitors. The app functions only when you register with at least one organization using the GEM Enterprise solution that you wish to be associated with. The organization will inform you how to register. The Alert functionality provides rapid reception of multimedia emergency communications from the organization(s) security team(s), based on your location (subject to your approval to share location) and/or group membership. Upon receiving an alert, the app will attempt to vibrate your device and pop-up a full-screen view of the alert content. It can also optionally play an audible alert tone and read the message, subject to settings that you control. The organization may include a list of responses in the alert that you can activate to acknowledge reception. The Panic functionality allows you to provide instant status information to an organization's security team, using either a single button activation or selection from a list. At each activation your location is shared with the organization (subject to your approval). Panic can be enabled for only one organization at a time (usually your employer or a local authority). The Check-In functionality is used to provide periodic answers to questions to an organization's security team, such as a periodic lone-worker or remote check-in, or for health checks. Check-In can be enabled for only one organization at a time, and the organization has the ability to add or remove you from different check-in profiles at any time. The app will remind you when to check-in, and the organization may also send alerts to remind you to Check-In.
