My Acute Pancreatitis is an educational resource for NHS patients their family members, carers, and friends to learn about Pancreatitis. The app uses images videos and podcasts to guide a patient through their journey, educates them on the pancreas and its function and what can possibly go wrong. The app is split into two sections. An educational section where we discuss the pancreas, tests you may undergo during diagnosis, treatment options and available helpful guidance as well as a section for writing notes. Second the podcast section where you can listen to patients and medical experts discuss acute pancreatitis and their journeys. My Acute Pancreatitis aims to empower patients by giving them the information they need.

You control what they see and for how long. - Track your health and set goals; To help you manage your lifestyle, so that you ensure you get enough exercise, rest, eat properly, etc. there are 100s of trackers you can use. - Condition insights; An overview of treatments that others with your condition have undertaken, along with how well they have rated their effectiveness. Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only UK charity that specifically focuses on improving pancreatic cancer survival rates through early diagnosis in everything we do. Currently there are almost 10,000 people newly diagnosed a year with pancreatic cancer in the UK. Our mission is to improve survival rates of pancreatic cancer by ensuring more people are diagnosed early and in time for surgery – currently the only potential for a cure – and improve the quality of life for patients.
