This app provides wrist motion tracking capability via capturing sensor data from the apple watch. This app pulls motion data directly from the watch's accelerometer and gyroscope sensors and uploads this directly to iCloud in CSV format (spreadsheet style).
To begin recording, click "Start Log". The user is prompted to authorize health-store access, and once authorized, logging begins. Press "Stop log" to stop the recording, wrap the data into a file, and upload it to iCloud.
This app works in conjunction with a macOS counterpart application that retrieves the files from the iCloud container, sorts by date and time of upload, and fetches each record to download to your computer.
This app is developed and maintained by John Lawler and Cameron Burroughs, a research development team under Clemson University for use with tracking eating habits.
