The JLG Augmented Reality (AR) App uses next-generation augmented reality visualization to enable faster and more accurate project planning and onsite equipment management. Includes the following tools: • Machine Visualization – Using augmented reality to efficiently and simply view the size of a machine, to see how the machine will fit at their worksite, or to do a specific job. • Accessory Visualization – Using augmented reality to view an attachment or kit to provide customers with an idea of how much space will be needed for the kit, but also provides a piece of mind that the customer is ordering the right part. • Operation Guidance - With the JLG Operation tool, Equipment users can familiarize themselves with the controls and operations of JLG machines. • Decal Viewer – View important machine operating and safety decal information clearly in operator’s preferred language. • Annual Inspection Assistant – With the step-by-step annual machine inspection checklist, operators will complete this task quicker, without worrying about missing a step. • Fleet – Manage all machines for offline access, including offline AR content availability. Log all machine assets associated with a specific machine type. Store inspections specific to a machine and its Asset ID/serial number.

Greenlee continues to drive efficiency with PullCalc, an app that helps electricians and contractors approximate the pull force needed to install an electrical cable inside of conduit. Data is entered by "legs" and each leg is considered to be a straight run of conduit followed by a bend, except the last leg, which usually has no bend. The calculation for each leg requires the following information to be entered: - Wire size - Number of wires - Conduit I.D. - Duct Material - Material of the Cable Insulation - Coefficent of Friction* - Length of Leg - Bend angle - Vertical Rise *Due to unknown factors involved, it prohibits giving exact results, most notably the coefficient of friction. Lubrication, surface texture, and lay of the cable are never uniform along the length of a conduit run. Comparing the known forces of pulls against the estimated force should give you a guide as for a good coefficient of friction to use for similar future pulls, and a table with some suggested starting points for the coefficient of friction of well-lubricated cable is a drop down option in the app. If lubricant is not used, triple the values in the table.
