clouds: Ambient Music is designed to blend into the background and mask outside sounds so you can avoid distractions and maintain focus. It's made for deep work: thinking, studying, reading, writing, coding, brainstorming, conceptualizing, planning, troubleshooting - anything requiring deep concentration and staying in the flow. It's also the perfect endless sonic background for things like meditating, relaxing and sleeping. Clouds is Generative Long-Form Ambient Music. Generative:  Ever-different, ever-changing music output by a system. Long-Form:  The full Clouds musical sequence takes 502 years to complete, and every moment within it is unique. Ambient:  Music that blends into the background, creating a sound environment that doesn't draw your attention by being either too stimulating or too boring. Like sounds found in nature, the musical elements in Clouds are familiar but not repetitive. Music:  Clouds isn't just white noise or nature sounds. It is layers of high-quality human-composed real music, which means that Clouds is just as rewarding whether you listen to it closely or let it fade into the background. From the Creator of Clouds: "I've always been fascinated with how ambient music can create a sonic environment that envelops the listener. My goal was to create music measured in years or centuries, not minutes. This meant making it generative - composing music in layers that all work together in any combination, while using a mathematical plan to sequence them. Unbelievably, the full sequence in this piece takes 502 years to complete, never repeating the exact same musical combination, and every moment within it is unique. Creating music in this way was difficult, fun, and rewarding. I use Clouds for hours every day." - Scott Lumsden
