The Aliviado app comes from Aliviado Health, an arm of the Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing at the NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing focused on helping care organizations and individual clinicians and caregivers provide high quality dementia care through better symptom management, and increasing the quality of life for persons living with dementia and their caregivers. Thousands of clinicians are enrolled in the Aliviado Health educational program, in which they have access to innovative training, education, mentoring, and resources, giving them advanced expertise in the complexities of care for persons living with dementia.
