The International Association of Fire Chief’s free Recruitment and Retention app allows you to recruit, retain, and refer new volunteers to your department.
The app features three modes: Recruiter, Candidate, and Referrals.
RECRUITER: Create a free profile for your department and start recruiting new volunteers! Develop a plan to recruit new members or upload your existing recruitment plan into the app. Track potential new members through the application and onboarding process. Advertise your recruitment events to potential candidates and network with recruiters in your area.
CANDIDATE: Learn more about the departments in your area and what it means to become a volunteer member of a fire department. After you submit your application, track your progress as you become a volunteer member of your local fire department.
REFERRALS: Anyone can use this mode to refer potential volunteers to your department. Simply enter the potential candidate’s information and their volunteer interest. The referral will be sent to a recruiter in the candidate’s local area.
