Soye Videos vs EYT Card Sorting Usage & Stats
This video player is extremely simple for the user, typically a handicapped or elderly person, once it has been set up by someone with a bit more skills. You will need to connect an iPad or iPhone to a computer, and transfer videos from a computer through Finder > Files on Mac or by similar means on Windows. The app does get any videos directly from the internet.
I made this app years ago for my handicapped daughter and she has been using for hours on a daily basis. The reason to make my own app was that Apple's native video player kept changing and every change would cause big frustration for our daughter, after losing access to her beloved videos. Other video players in App Store have far too many features and buttons, which makes it too easy to tap a wrong one and get lost.

Early Years Toolbox (EYT) Card Sorting is an iPad-based assessment of children's cognitive flexibility (i.e., ability to disengage from one task/rule and re-engage in another). In this game, children are presented with rabbits and boats that vary along two dimensions (i.e., shape and colour). Children and are asked to sort each the rabbits and boats first by one dimension (e.g., colour) and then, after a number of trials, by another dimension (e.g., shape). This game takes approximately 5 minutes to complete.
Scores are presented on the final assessment screen. For more precise research applications, there are options to have the item by item data sent to a user-specified e-mail address or database. For more information, training videos and analysis resources, please visit http://www.eytoolbox.com.au

About the Early Years Toolbox:
The 'Early Years Toolbox' (EYT, for short) is comprised of brief, engaging game-like assessments of children’s self-regulation, executive functioning and vocabulary. These assessments are based on well-established and widely used measures, yet have been adapted and optimised on the basis of 20+ years of research experience working with young children.
