WhatsMyBloodSugar vs My Glucose Tracker Usage & Stats

Whats My Blood Sugar displays the Glucose Data that you add to iHealth using iHealth or other apps in a typical and standard way. It displays the Average Blood Sugar Test Strip values that you have entered using the Apple iHealth app or other third party apps and quickly displays the average summary values for 7 days, 14 days, 30 days and 90 days. It then calculates the A1C equivalent for each summary. This calculation is based on research funded by the American Diabetes Association. The research can be viewed here https://care.diabetesjournals.org/content/diacare/early/2008/06/07/dc08-0545.full.pdf While this value may be close to what you would see in an actual A1C blood test it is ONLY a calculated estimate not an actual measurement that you may use between actual A1C tests to give you an idea of what your current A1C might be. My own personal experience is that the A1C values that are calculated by WhatsMyBloodSugar App are more conservative than my Actual A1C tests but your results could vary and it also depends on how many data points are available.
