The venue changes annually to highlight the diversity of ecoregions across the stats and maximize membership attendance. This year’s meeting will be held in the Gulf Prairie and Marshes region at the Omni Houston. Meeting attendance ranges from 500 to 800 attendees and is student centric. Our annual meeting features 10-15 exhibitors, hosts ~200 oral and poster presentations across 12 bio-disciplines with the majority (~75%) of these presented by undergraduate and graduate students. The annual meeting features a Plenary Session led by nationally acclaimed leaders, presentation of the latest technology and research, student-focused competitions including Plant ID and Quiz Bowl, multiple professional development workshops and trainings, and countless networking opportunities.
