The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office app was developed to increase communication and transparency
between our office and the community that we serve in Shelby County, Alabama. The app is an
interactive method of viewing information, such as inmate listings and sex offenders, and for sending us
information, such as crime tips. The app also provides push notifications to users, such as major
incidents, road closures, public safety tips, and press releases.
This app is not intended to report emergency situations, and is not monitored 24/7. Always call 911 to
report emergencies.
