About Giani Sant Singh Ji Maskeen:
Giani Sant Singh Maskeen, a revered Sikh scholar, was renowned for his profound knowledge of Gurmat and Gurbani. Born in 1934 in Lakki Marwat (now Pakistan), he faced the upheaval of Partition in 1947, which interrupted his education. His family migrated to Alwar, Rajasthan, where he eventually settled.
Maskeen Ji worked briefly as a railway employee before marrying Sunder Kaur in 1958 and making Alwar his permanent home. They had three sons and two daughters. He passed away on 18 February 2005 due to a heart attack during a marriage ceremony in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, India.
For his invaluable contributions to Sikhism, he was honored with the title of Panth Ratan.
