Politonus II (Ear Training) vs MetroDrone® Usage & Stats
Politonus II will help you improve your ability to identify intervals, triads and sevenths, in no time, by using machine learning to create the next exercise based on your progress.
Every music interval, triad and seventh chord is represented by a sphere.
As you improve your ear training skills, the spheres will move from the Unfamiliar area towards the Proficient area.
Politonus II will create a series of “reverse ear training” exercises in which you must find the requested interval, triad or seventh hidden inside one of three spheres.
The spheres will play in sequence. As soon as you know where the requested interval is, “double-tap” on the correct sphere to submit your answer.
Politonus II include all intervals, triads and seventh chords.
The different levels include:
Melodic Intervals / Same Root

The MetroDrone® is an all purpose music practice tool created by Muse Eek Publishing Inc. and music educator Bruce Arnold. Basically, it provides a metronome with a drone pitch. While this may seem like a simple thing, the applications of such a device are amazingly varied and useful. There are two underlying ideas associated with the MetroDrone®. First, it keeps a musician constantly relating what they practice to a key center, thus strengthening their ear training. Secondly it helps the musician to learn "Long Line Rhythm®" skills by developing the ability to feel larger and larger rhythmic pulses. This takes their time sense to a new level, so that they can "feel time don't count time," that is, to feel larger forms within music naturally, to relax when playing faster tempos, and to noticeably increase the speed at which they can play anything on their instrument. Some of these skills will take some time to come to fruition, but most students find that their ability to play accurately at a faster tempo and to relax as they play appears over a short period of time just using the MetroDrone® and thinking differently as they play. Muse-eek Publishing hosts a help page filled with suggestions on how to use the MetroDrone®. The MetroDrone® is a crucial tool in acquiring Contextual Ear Training® skills, by providing both a pulse and a drone at the same time. This allows the ear to always relate everything played to a key center. Contextual Ear Training® is part of a multi-tiered ear training method developed by Bruce Arnold over 40 years of teaching music. The MetroDrone® is part of a larger series of apps. being developed by Muse Eek Publishing Inc. to supplement the already available courses in physical and digital formats. With every purchase of a Muse Eek Publishing Inc. product there is free access via email to ask Bruce Arnold questions that pertain to a student's exact situation. This allows them to learn how to best use the MetroDrone® if the help page doesn't answer their questions. Start yourself on a new way of learning music that really works and will take you to new levels of your musicianship that you never thought possible. It is such a simple device, but when applied correctly, it does amazing things.
