Experience Controls vs Nyquist App Usage & Stats

Experience Controls gives you a learning experience unlike any other. Unlike a typical textbook, Experience Controls is designed to give you real design intuition and relevant skills in a hands-on way in the control systems engineering space. Interact with the sensors on your mobile device, alter parameters in real-time dynamic simulations, and even remotely connect to real hardware. FEATURES OVER 50+ LESSON MODULES - Introduction to Control - Integration - Modelling - Types of Systems - System Response - Stability - PID Control - Lead Lag - State Space - Control Schemes - Case studies, mini-lecture podcasts, and more REVIEW QUESTIONS - Chapter-specific reviews to see what you’ve learned and what you’ve missed ------------------------ Who Are We? Experience Controls was made by Quanser, the global leader in hardware, software and course resources that transform the way educators teach the theory, application, and implementation of controls, robotics, and mechatronics. Over the last 30 years, Quanser has built our reputation creating the best experiential learning material for control systems labs. The Experience Controls app leverages that legacy to improve the aspect of controls education most in need: the textbook. When combined with our hardware, Experience Controls and the support material offered is the best learning experience available for controls students. Over 2,500 universities and institutions rely on Quanser labs and solutions to help them attract, educate and graduate a new generation of engineering leaders. ----------------------- This app was created using qdex, the only fully-featured authoring and content management system for STEM education. In this app, you can practice the Nyquist stability criterion. With the Nyquist stability criterion, you can determine the stability of the closed loop based on the frequency response of the open loop, without explicitly calculating the poles of the closed loop. This app was developed at the Institute for Systems Theory and Automatic Control of the University of Stuttgart and accompanies the course "Einführung in die Regelungstechnik" at the University of Stuttgart. Nevertheless, the content and tasks are self-contained, and we encourage all interested in this topic to play with the app and practice the Nyquist stability criterion.
