Free Fall Calculator vs Weight on Other Planets Conv Usage & Stats
Free Fall Calculator is a physics calculator used to find the velocity of a falling object, the height it drops from, or the total time the object falls with constant gravity.
The result will be calculated once any input is changed. For example, by inputting the gravity and the object height, the time traveled and velocity are calculated automatically. The same thing happens when you input the velocity; the height/distance and the time traveled are calculated automatically.
Features:
- Instant calculation
- Results are copyable to other apps
- Formulas are included as references
Free fall means that an object is falling freely with no forces acting upon it except gravity, a defined constant, g = -9.8 m/s². The distance the object falls, or height h, is 1/2 gravity times the square of the time falling. Velocity is defined as gravity times time.
Free fall speed:
When an object is released to fall down under the influence of gravitational force with no initial velocity, the velocity of a falling object is given by:
v = g * t
where t stands for time, g for gravity, and v for velocity.
Free fall equation:
The equation for distance or height fallen is given by:
s = 0.5 * g * t²
where t stands for time, g for gravity, and s for distance/height.
Whether explicitly stated or not, the value of the acceleration in the kinematic equations is -9.8 m/s² for any freely falling object. If an object is merely dropped (as opposed to being thrown) from an elevated height, then the initial velocity of the object is 0 m/s.

Weight on Other Planets Converter Calculator is a physic/math calculator to find Your weight on other planets fast and easy.
Your weight is different on other planets because the gravity is different. You have not changed of course, so your mass is always the same.
Features:
• Instant calculation
• The result is copy able to another app
• The formula is included as reference
• Support up to 16 decimal places
• Support various unit for each input
Your weight is different on other planets in the Solar System because the gravity is different. This converter tells you what the scales would read on other worlds. The units will be the same on the other planet. e.g if the input is 50 kg on Earth the answer given would be in kg on any of the other planets.
Newton's gravitation law:
F = G((Mm)/r²)
Where:
F - Gravitational force between two objects
G - Gravitational Constant (6.674X10⁻¹¹Newtons x meters² / kilograms²)
M - Planet's mass (kg)
m - Object mass (kg)
r - Distance (m) between the centers of the two masses (the planet's radius).
