This app is specifically for Ohio State Fire Marshal external inspections. This app would be used by authorized inspectors from Local Fire Departments across the State of Ohio, Certified Underground Storage tank (UST) inspectors etc. Using this app, inspectors can conduct compliance, fireworks and fire safety inspections. The submitted information will, in turn, be available for State of Ohio State Fire Marshal Bureau reporting.
Following are the key features of the initial version of the app for Fireworks Permit:
1) Ability to sign-in via statewide secure access gateway OHID (OHID provides users with a more secure and private experience during online interactions with State of Ohio programs)
2) View work queue with submitted Firework Permit applications to the Fire departments.
3) Conduct Fireworks permit inspections and submit indoor and/or outdoor Fireworks checklist.
4) Add comments, upload pictures of any violations or supporting information
4) Print completed checklist and upload signed checklist for State Fire Marshal reporting
