I am in no way affiliated with Bandcamp. • Is Packrat free? Yes, at the moment Packrat is totally free, but whether it remains that way remains to be seen! • Who makes Packrat? I am a solo developer working on Packrat in my free time. I have my own band on Bandcamp (ORM) and I started developing Packrat to help myself when selling and accounting for merch. • Does Bandcamp take a cut of my sales with Packrat? No, Bandcamp does not take a cut. Packrat only uses the inventory APIs of Bandcamp, so there's no interaction with Bandcamp's sales features. • Does Packrat contain ads No, there are no ads on Packrat. • Does Packrat store any personal data? No, Packrat does not store any personal data (except your email account and your user name which you choose freely). • Why does Packrat need location data? Packrat itself does not need your location and does not collect or record it. However, if you wish to use the SumUp payment terminal integration, location access is needed (by SumUp). • Does Packrat report my sales to any third party (government, company, etc)? No. • Is Packrat a finished product? Packrat should be perfectly usable in its current state. However there are many things that could be improved and features that could be added. Since I am working on Packrat in my spare time, the development pace is not super fast. • Is Packrat open source? Not at the moment, but it's my ambition to eventually open source it.
