Slopes and more vs Graphs and Slopes Usage & Stats
Practice algebra skills with instant feedback, reinforcing the correct way to solve common algebra problems!
Four kinds of problems are currently available, with an infinite number of carefully chosen problems that can be solved with minimal need for scratch paper and/or a calculator. You can practice:
- finding the slope of a line given two points that it passes through;
- solving a linear system given two linear equations, one in slope-intercept form and one in standard form;
- recognizing whether two lines are parallel, perpendicular, or neither; and
- determining the slope-intercept form of a line given its slope in decimal form and a point that it passes through.
While this app includes brief summaries of how to accomplish each task, it is not intended as an instructional app for students to learn how to do the tasks. It is intended as a way for students to practice the skills they have learned elsewhere in a way that gives them immediate feedback like traditional flashcards, which is crucial for learning how to solve algebra problems correctly and consistently.
