Every pet should have a safe and loving home. The information and statistics on animals in shelters is heart-breaking. Many pets end up in animal shelters because their owners give them up. Many are left fending for themselves on the streets before being taken to an animal shelter. Unfortunately and immorally, over a million pets in these animal shelters are killed each year because there's not enough room for them. The goal of this app is to prevent this from happening by helping each pet find a loving home. Pet Pick® is a mobile app for you to use to search for adoptable pets. You can view each pet's profile where you can find detailed information about the pet including location and contact information. Pet Pick makes it fun and easy for you to Pick your Pet! Many options for you to search for and Pick your Pet: • Use the Search Filter to search for pets by zip code or animal shelter. • Save your Searches for easy access later. • Save your Pet Picks by clicking the heart on their profile picture. Your Picks are stored in one convenient place for you to refer to as needed. • You can even take notes about your Pick. • Filter your searches by species and breed! Pet Pick is not limited to just dogs and cats. You can search for all kinds of animals, including horses, pigs, cows, lizards, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc. • Narrow your search down even further by searching for pets that are Urgent. Urgent pets have been assigned euthanasia dates and don’t have much time so they are in desperate need of a loving home ASAP!!! • As an added feature, use the map to get an idea of where your Pet Picks and Urgent pets are located. • Pet Pick is free of Ads so can focus on Picking your Pet.
