L'Italia in Europa vs Naples 3x3 Usage & Stats

The Department for European Policies presents, in cooperation with Ansa, the photography exhibition “Italy in Europe – Europe in Italy”. The exhibition, which dates back to 2007, was reorganized and enriched with new content on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Treaties of Rome; the media language was updated as well, so as to better involve younger generations through the use of new technology. It is now possible to experience the events which marked the European integration process and Italy’s action in this process through the App “Italy in Europe”. Like in a time machine showing historical pictures and archive footage, the app drives the user through a journey leading to a better understanding of the “added value” of being EU citizens. The exhibition – divided into periods of 10 years – portrays the highlights of European integration since the Cold War up to present days, focusing both on global events and on cultural and social trends characterizing the last decades of our history. The interactive visit with the ‘L'Italia in Europa - L'Europa in italia’ (Italy in Europe - Europe in Italy) app will enable you to visit the exhibition or browse the catalogue, with the benefit of detailed multimedia content. Search the works marked with the play icon, position yourself in front of the photo and frame it: the special content will automatically be activated. We recommend downloading and updating the App media content before your visit to facilitate its use.

The film, winner of the Campania Region Cinema Competition, and co-produced with the Madre Museum in Naples, is a portrait dedicated to the Neapolitan writer Fabrizia Ramondino conceived and directed by Matilde De Feo. The film, conceived to be seen on devices, is a dreamlike animated score that is vaguely inspired by the first animated films of the German avant-garde (Ruttman and Fischinger), build around an original and vibrant interview with Mario Martone. Its main concept resides in the question like “how a film can be hidden in space and become a surface?”. Four colored markers constitute the four conceptual nuclei of the film, they can be displayed anywhere on the web, in big prints inside an immersive setting, inside a book. The original music is composed by  Ferruccio Spinetti. The app have been developed by ISTI-CNR (Pisa).
