When you give the App information about a plant, such as its location, flower color and the time of year, the App will quickly show you which plants match your selections. The App includes 3,838 species of plants found in North Carolina. Overall, 1,877 are "Wildflowers", 353 are shrubs, 269 are broadleaf trees, 41 are conifers, 95 are vines, 3 are cactus, 594 are grass-like, 96 are fern-like, 335 are moss-like, 37 are seaweed and 316 are lichen.
