Paranoia Text Encryption Lite vs Secret.ly Usage & Stats

• Paranoia Text Encryption is a comprehensive text encryption application for iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod) developed by Paranoia Works. • Paranoia Text Encryption ensures the safety of your notes, SMSs, emails, social networking posts, cryptocurrency keys (seeds, mnemonics), and any other text from all unwanted readers. • Simply copy and paste text to and from your favorite applications, or save to a file for future use. • This app does not function as a "Vault application". Instead, a password is set for the current encryption/decryption session, not to enter the app itself. You may have an unlimited number of passwords for any purpose—different files, tasks, people, etc. • The app guarantees real security by encrypting data using robust encryption algorithms: Blowfish 448 bits, AES 256 bits, RC6 256 bits, Serpent 256 bits, and Twofish 256 bits ciphers. • It also includes steganographic features, allowing you to conceal text within a JPG image. This is achieved by using a steganographic algorithm (F5 algorithm) in conjunction with the chosen symmetric cipher algorithm to produce a final steganogram (JPEG image). ◆ Differences between Free and PRO versions: The PRO version offers additional encryption algorithms, specifically Threefish 1024bit, SHACAL-2 512bit, and Paranoia C4 2048bit (which is a cascade of Threefish–Serpent–AES–SHACAL2). While the free version can decrypt data encrypted by these advanced algorithms, the ability to encrypt data using these algorithms is exclusive to the PRO version. The PRO version also provides a key to activate the PRO versions of desktop applications: Paranoia File & Text Encryption for PC, Paranoia Text Encryption for PC and S.S.E. File Encryptor for PC. • The application is natively compatible with macOS (10.15 and later). Versions for other systems and platforms can be downloaded from the application homepage (https://paranoiaworks.mobi/download/). • An online (web-based) version (AES, client-side JavaScript) is also available at https://pteo.paranoiaworks.mobi.

Secret.ly© allows you to hide and reveal data on images imperceptibly without any visual changes through steganography techniques. Steganography is a set of ancient techniques that consist of hiding information in plain sight but isn't a form of cryptography because it only hides the existence of that data. That's why Secret.ly uses a customizable secret key that is automatically encrypted as well as the data that will be hidden, ensuring security and inviolability. With Secret.ly you can: • Store sensitive data in plain view securely. • Hide and reveal any type of text or image within images. • Use customizable passwords on each image with hidden data to reveal their content. • Save and share the hidden data. Privacy and security - Secret.ly encrypts all data and hash values of the secret keys used in the app. Even without setting a customizable secret key, a default encrypted one is used to prevent third parties from accessing your data. - Only the same key that encrypted a file is able to decrypt it and it is not possible to recover forgotten keys. - We do not collect or store any data used in the application, not even passwords (secret keys). To share images with hidden data, make sure that the chosen app or communication channel allows to send images at their original size without compression. Compressing an encoded image to reduce its size can corrupt or completely erase the hidden data, making it impossible to decode them.
