Which Way Out is a maze game for persons with motor disabilities using switches for direction control. Auto Scan, Step Scan and 4-Switch modes are supported. It also works well with external keyboards.
On-screen direction buttons can be used by anyone. It is easy to use but is challenging at the higher levels.
Suitable for schools etc. Low cost and no ads or web-links or in-app purchases.
Apple's accessibility setup is not required.
Teachers or aides can set key codes for external switches that correspond to the scan select button and arrow direction buttons and for a step switch. The scan select button selects the direction that is currently highlighted, The scan period is adjustable or the scan can be advanced using a step switch. The difficulty level can be set from 1 to 20.
A random maze is generated for each of the 20 levels. After several player moves a 'dragon' starts to move through the maze. The player must reach the Exit before the dragon and avoid being caught by the dragon.
