Musical Ear Trainer vs Ear Training - Music Skills Usage & Stats
This app provides you with a set of customizable ear training exercises. You can train to recognize pitch, intervals, or types of chords, using either the built-in exercises, or custom exercises that you create. You can control things like the instrument sound, what types of intervals or chords to play, how to play them (ascending, descending, open, close, etc), and which area of the keyboard to use.

Ear Training - Music Skills is an app that helps users develop their musical skills by challenging them to identify musical notes by ear. The app has a Train page where users can listen to a reference note and then play their guesses on an on-screen piano. The app will play one to five random notes, depending on the user's selection, and the user must match their guesses to the reference note. If the user gets the answer right, they can press Shuffle, to get a new set of notes. If the challenge is too difficult, the user can press Answers to reveal the correct notes. The app also has a switch to toggle between flat and sharp spelling for the on-screen note names, and a switch to determine whether or not the reference note changes when the user shuffles. There is also an option to turn on a Random number of random notes switch, which hides the number of notes from the user and changes it each time they shuffle, in order to help them get used to distinguishing different chords without knowing the number of notes in advance.
