EACS vs BHIVA Guidelines Usage & Stats

These Guidelines are developed by the European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS), a not-for-profit organization, whose mission is to promote excellence in standards of care, research and education in HIV-infection and related co-infections, and to actively engage in the formulation of public health policy, with the aim of reducing HIV disease burden across Europe. The EACS Guidelines provide guidance for healthcare professionals on: assessment of HIV-positive persons, antiretroviral therapy (ART), prevention and management of co-morbidities, co-infections and opportunistic infections. THE ALL NEW BHIVA GUIDELINES MOBILE APPLICATION Since the 1990s, BHIVA has been producing guidelines for the management of HIV infection, which, while primarily intended for the use of UK physicians, have international influence. Guidelines are published, in HIV Medicine and are also available on the BHIVA iOS app, BHIVA mobile website (http://bhivaguidelines.org/) BHIVA website (http://www.bhiva.org/guidelines.aspx). The Guidelines encompass the treatment of antiretroviral diseases and specific guidelines on the management of TB and hepatitis co-infected individuals, transplantation, immunisation, malignancy, opportunistic infections, reproductive and sexual health and pregnancy.
