The FoliMatch™ app is your assistant for foliar spraying. It assesses the suitability of actual conditions for spray operations and calculates the amount of fertilizer needed in the sprayer tank. To enjoy the full capabilities of the FoliMatch™, GPS and internet connection must be enabled. This allows for the retrieval of actual temperature, wind and precipitation data. These data are weighed to provide an indication of aptness for foliar spraying: Green indicates ideal conditions; yellow indicates sub-optimal conditions; red indicates that spraying is not recommended. The complete assessment requires information about the plants' water status, age of foliage and fruits, and the content of the spray tank. To provide the information, the user is asked to answer two Yes/No questions. Clicking on exclamation mark or the question mark icons will pop-up an explanatory text. The output of the process is a clear indication whether the conditions are optimal / not optimal/ not recommended for foliar spraying. At any stage, you can proceed to the fertilizer calculator. This section serves as a calculator to help you determine the amount of fertilizer needed in the tank, depending on crop type, fertilizer in use, application method, sprayed area and tank volume. For any choice of crop, only the relevant growth stages and Haifa fertilizers are selectable. Note: all parameters must be filled in in order to proceed. The next screen presents the output: the quantity of fertilizer that should be dissolved in the tank and the total amount of water and fertilizer needed to cover the entire area. Concentration (Kg/L or Oz. / Gallon) and spray volume (L/ha or Gallon/acre) can be adjusted as needed, within the limits of Haifa's recommended volumes. The final results are adjusted accordingly
