TraumaCad Mobile is a medical software aimed for orthopedic surgeons, providing them with tools to plan Total Joints Replacement surgical procedures in advance. The app has tools that allow doctors to:
• Securely import medical images directly from the : hospital imaging system, secured cloud storage (Quentry) or from your local device.
• Calibrate the images
• Insert templates to evaluate the correct type and size
• Perform measurements, such as lengths and angles
• Visualize post-operative results (bone reduction)
• Save the planned images, for later review or consultation
The software is a class II medical device in the FDA.
All information received from the software as output must be clinically reviewed regarding its plausibility before patient treatment!
Indications for Use: The TraumaCad Mobile software is indicated for assisting healthcare professionals in preoperative planning of orthopedic surgery. The device allows for overlaying of prosthesis templates on radiological images, and includes tools for performing measurements on the image and for positioning the template. Clinical judgment and experience are required to properly use the software. The software is not for primary image interpretation. The software is not for use on mobile phones.
TraumaCad software desktop version is widely used with over 2,000 installations worldwide.

RI.HIP is a non-invasive standalone Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA) planning software application designed to provide preoperative planning for hip implant acetabular cup rotational selection and placement. RI.HIP allows surgeons to visualize and perform analysis of digital images for assessment of spinopelvic mobility of the patient. The app is used to characterize patient conditions, manage patient performance expectations, and help surgeons determine acetabular cup placement based on spinopelvic mobility.
RI.HIP uses imported lateral sitting/standing X-rays to determine patient specific pelvic tilt. In addition to pelvic tilt, the algorithm considers typical patient activities and implants to enable a placement that is individually suited to the patient. The application accesses a simulation database which has been generated by the LifeMOD simulation platform. Hip kinematics and distance to impingement are calculated for each activity, given a set of implant specifications.
The software provides a baseline cup orientation recommendation intended to reduce incidences of impingement based on patient condition and implant specifications. The surgeon is reminded to verify and adjust the parameters based on their clinical judgment.
RI.HIP can be used preoperatively to plan implant placement using standing and sitting X-rays. Certain physiological characteristics may not be seen on a preoperative X-ray, but may be observed in the OR. The surgeon can change the plan intraoperatively upon viewing the hip joint characteristics.
