Real time broadcasting of the Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) reported by the 15 general and 3 roadside air monitoring stations operated by the Environmental Protection Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. AQHI is reported on a scale of 1 to 10 and 10+ and grouped into five Health Risk Categories: Low, Moderate, High, Very High and Serious. This App provides the following features and air quality information - • Forecast of Health Risk Category of general and roadside monitoring stations • AQHI of each monitoring station and their trends in the past 24 hours • Air pollutant concentrations of each monitoring station and their trends in the past 24 hours • Health Risk forecast notification • Health Risk notification of monitoring station(s) • Health Risk lowered notification of monitoring station(s) • Timed air quality notification • Widgets for monitoring station(s), current Health Risk and Health Risk forecast

MyWorldWeather

'MyWorldWeather' is a mobile version of the WWIS developed for iOS platform.It is equipped with location-based technology to detect the location where the user is located and to provide users with official city weather forecast automatically. The World Weather Information Service (WWIS) website is the first and the only one global website presenting OFFICIAL weather observations, weather forecasts and climatological information for selected cities provided by National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) worldwide.WWIS aims to provide authoritative and reliable weather information of NMHSs around the world to all internet users and media.The WWIS website was developed and maintained by the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) on behalf of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). By March 2017, WWIS provided official weather information for 2123 cities in which 1997 cities are available with forecast from 135 members while 1961 cities are available with climatological information from 169 members.
