The genesis of ISC is traced to the Unity Club that took shape in 1967 from the shared vision of a band of pioneering Indians to create a centre for social and cultural activities, and a link to the cultural roots and memories of their homeland. With the benevolence and magnanimity of His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the father of the U.A.E., The Unity Club has been transformed into India Social and Cultural Centre, a new identity in serving the Indian community.
