Explore the lives of iconic individuals, including business owners, faith leaders, politicians, journalists, dramatists, and musicians. Find cultural spaces, historic sites, and locations integral to Washington State’s Black communities.

This Mobile App was created to showcase and pay tribute to the legacy and contributions of African Americans in the historic Kingston, NY and the surrounding areas by showcasing events, programs, activities, people and content.
Although the App started as a tool to support Black History Month Kingston it will be active and utilized all year long with updates and current information to educate and entertain its users about the African American Culture.

- Sojourner Truth Tour: Learn about the legendary abolitionist, author and mother of our area, Sojourner Truth. Access the first and official Sojourner Truth Audio Tour which explains her life in this area with actual locations to visit between the Town of Esopus to Kingston, NY.
- Legends: Educate yourself and others about other prominent African Americans who have contributed to the development of the monumental upstate area.
