NEW: You can now create a Patient Access account without linking to your UK GP practice and enjoy the following features: • If you’re feeling under the weather, search for symptoms and find patient information articles • Self-refer to NHS services such as talking therapies, sexual health, antenatal care and drug and alcohol addiction services • Choose from over 30 services provided by your local community pharmacy and book in the app • Access and read medical advice and healthy living tips from the experts • Sign in quickly, easily and securely with Touch or Face ID • Swiftly check if you can link to your GP If you are able to link your Patient Access account to your GP practice, you can also get access to the following features where they are made available by your practice: • Book face-to-face or remote online appointments with your GP, nurse or clinician at a time that suits you • Request repeat prescriptions online, with convenient delivery to your preferred pharmacy • View your medical record, including test results, immunisations and allergies • Securely share your medical record with healthcare professionals of your choosing, without the need to contact your practice • Look after your loved ones and act on their behalf to book appointments and repeat prescriptions • Message your GP directly from within Patient Access at home or on the move • Where your practice has enabled it, book a remote video consultation with your GP, nurse or clinician You must be a registered patient at a participating practice to use the GP-linked features in Patient Access.

AXA Doctor at Hand is a 24/7 service, available wherever and whenever you need it. From a choice of appointments with GP’s or Advanced Clinical Practitioner for advice, prescriptions, tests or eligible referrals, AXA Doctor at Hand takes care of things seamlessly. Anytime appointments With AXA Doctor at Hand, appointments are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. You can see GP’s and Advanced Clinical Practitioner by video or phone. Advanced Clinical Practitioner appointments are available from 8am – 10pm* There’s no need to fit in with fixed opening hours or be left hanging on the phone to make an appointment or to get the support you need. Hand-picked network of healthcare professionals Appointments are with qualified doctors and advanced clinical practitioner; experienced healthcare professionals handpicked by Doctor Care Anywhere. You can even choose whether you see a male or female clinician. All our clinicians are UK-registered with either the General Medical Council (GMC) or Nursing and Midwifery Council ( NMC). They are also specially trained in virtual consultation skills, ensuring that you receive the highest quality of care during your consultation. Medical records at a touch You will have a copy of your appointment notes uploaded directly to your patient record, so you’ve got a reminder of the conversation you had with the clinician. Your full medical notes can be sent to your NHS GP to make sure that everyone’s in the picture. Doctor-patient confidentiality is paramount. Your notes will be stored securely in your patient record. When asked for an activation code, activate using your AXA Health membership number if you have one (found on your AXA Health membership documentation) or, if you don’t have an AXA Health membership number, use the activation code emailed to you by Doctor Care Anywhere.
