CONCEPT:  Dahlia is a mindful audio journal that helps you pause, reflect, and grow. Begin each entry with a brief meditation to ground yourself, using the timer to track mindful minutes in Apple Health. As you record your thoughts, you are not just journaling—you are actively nurturing your mental well-being. Here is how it works, as shown in the screenshots above (from left to right): Step 1: Choose a Meditation Session Duration. Step 2: Find Calmness through Deep Breathing. Step 3: Record Your Grounded Message. Step 4: Keep Track of Your Recorded Messages. Step 5: Listen to Your Recorded Message. Step 6: Return Daily to Reflect on Your Day. PRACTICAL: Dahlia is currently designed exclusively for the Apple Watch. After downloading from the App Store, it should appear in the Watch app on your iPhone. If it doesn’t, you can download Dahlia directly from the App Store on your Apple Watch. If you are using an earlier version of Dahlia, please remove the app from your Apple Watch and reinstall it to access the free offer. I apologize for any inconvenience. While Dahlia is currently Apple Watch-only, I am working on a new version for both Apple Watch and iPhone. The December 1 update, with its new multiplatform architecture, will make downloads and updates smoother across devices. Until then, enjoy free access to the Dahlia Apple Watch app. DATA HANDLING:  Your data in Dahlia, including recorded messages, is securely linked to your Apple ID profile. Dahlia enhances your mental health records by saving your meditation sessions as mindful minutes in Apple’s Health app. Recorded audio messages are temporarily stored on your Apple Watch and deleted every six days to encourage daily mindful recordings. However, the companion iPhone app will keep track of all your transcribed audio messages, allowing you to manage them easily. To start, you can save up to six transcribed messages for free on the iPhone. After reaching this limit, you will have the option to subscribe for continued access. SUBSCRIPTION OFFERINGS (From Sunday, December 1 onwards): You can create up to six journal entries for free. After reaching the limit, you can choose between a monthly subscription for €2 or a yearly subscription for €12 to continue using the app. Both subscriptions auto-renew by default, and Apple will notify you via email before each renewal. You can manage your subscription settings, including turning off auto-renewal, in your Apple ID Account Settings on your paired iPhone. CLOSING THOUGHTS:  Dahlia aims to be your trusted companion on your journey to self-compassion and authenticity, with minimal distractions. Its design ensures a focused and immersive experience.
