The App uses the adjusted romanization e.g.
|ʃ| is denoted as "š",
|tʃ| is denoted as "c",
|dʒ| is denoted as "j".
/ö/ and /ü/ are like the German letters.
/q/ can be articulated like |k| or |h|.
The voiced velar fricative is denoted as "ɣ". It sounds like /g/, but with the back of the tongue vibrating your throat.
You can also select the word in alphabetical order by clicking “select” in the menu bar.
When you get a hang of the Mongolian handwritings, your understanding of the Mongolian culture will improve naturally.
