ABC KIDS listen is a dedicated audio app for preschoolers, brought to you by the ABC. Our aim is to provide children aged 0-5 and their families with a way to access the music and stories they love from the ABC in a trusted online environment. ABC KIDS listen cares about providing Australian families with a safe space for their children to access educational and entertaining audio content. You and your child can listen to our live radio stream, which has been designed to suit the changing needs of a child’s day and night, or simply choose a program on demand that best suits your needs at that moment. Our programs are inspired by the Early Years Learning Framework of Australia, which encourages children to learn through play. The high quality audio programs give preschoolers a space where they can get their bodies moving and brains working. Explore, learn, and play, and later wind down, rest, and sleep. Episodes can be downloaded and will then be available for seven days in the app before expiring, allowing for listening without an internet connection. It’s free and commercial free. Other ABC apps designed specifically for preschoolers and their families include ABC KIDS iview and ABC KIDS PLAY. The app is designed for devices running OS 7 and above. Read, play, and learn with Daniel Tiger’s Storybooks – a collection of favorite stories from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood! The Daniel Tiger’s Storybooks app is a library of interactive stories narrated by Daniel Tiger. The stories show Daniel learning little life lessons, like sharing with friends and being a helper. Each book includes a familiar song, charming animations, and a simple game to encourage children to play about the theme of the story. All books are available in English and Spanish.
