EYT CSBQ 與 RAMSR Intro 使用情況與統計

The Early Years Toolbox's (EYT) Child Self-Regulation & Behaviour Questionnaire (CSBQ) is a teacher- or parent-report questionnaire consisting of 34 items relating to children’s everyday behaviours. These items combine to assess children’s self-regulation and social development (e.g., ‘persists with difficult tasks’ and ‘waits their turn in activities’). For each item the respondent selects one of five options to indicate whether the statement is ‘Not true’ to ‘Very true’ about the child. This takes up to 5 minutes per child to complete. CSBQ produces both self-regulation (i.e., behavioural, cognitive and emotional) and social development sub-scales (e.g., prosocial). Subscale scores are presented on the final assessment screen. For more precise research applications, there are options to have the item by item data sent to a user-specified e-mail address or database. These assessments are based on well-established and widely used measures, yet have been adapted and optimised on the basis of 20+ years of research experience working with young children. RAMSR is a program for young children that aims to support their attentional and emotional regulation skills, as well as mental flexibility, inhibition, and working memory (the executive functions). The program is a carefully designed set of rhythmic movement activities that can be done in a group or with individual children. Activities aim to stimulate some of the same main benefits as learning a music instrument might provide. RAMSR is based on a number of neurological areas of research including music therapy, the cognitive benefits of music education, and self-regulation development. Any adult can learn to implement RAMSR activities, even if they have absolutely no music training or background.
