Stolpejakten går ut på å finne stolper sentralt plassert i de forskjellige kommunene. Stolpene kan registreres både manuelt, digitalt og ved å laste ned en applikasjon på mobilen, slik at man kan scanne QR-koden som hver stolpe er utstyrt med. Stolpejakten tar sikte på å legge til rette for å aktivisere både unge og gamle; inaktive, skoleelever, syklister, funksjonshemmede og rullestolbrukere – eller de som rett og slett ønsker å gjøre seg bedre kjent i byen og distriktet.
