Based on that picture, this app calculates a screening prediction for strep throat. Use this to help you decide whether, or when, to seek medical attention. The technology powering this app comes from research at Johns Hopkins University.
Strep throat is a type of throat infection caused by a bacteria (streptococcus).
This app uses a computer system that analyzes pictures of throats. Those throat pictures were used to teach the system how to see the pattern of strep throat. The system can predict your risk for strep throat.
