Shake - Music Vibration 與 Music Vibes 使用情況與統計
By chance, I learned that at some large concerts, there is a special profession for the hearing impaired - concert sign language interpreter, which aroused my great curiosity.
Do people with hearing impairment also have the need to attend concerts?
The answer is yes, and everyone is born with the right to enjoy music. But obviously, the cost of training a "concert sign language interpreter" is huge, and they can't take care of the hearing-impaired anywhere, anytime.
So I came up with the idea for this app, which I hope will provide a special music experience for the hearing-impaired. The app calls the iPhone's microphone to listen to the music around you, converts the music from sound signals to vibration signals, and then uses the iPhone's vibration unit to deliver the music's melody to you.
The app was originally designed for the hearing impaired, but I think it will enhance the music experience for the non-hearing impaired as well.
I hope that more people will have the opportunity to enjoy music!

With Music Vibes, don't just hear the music, feel the music in your bones - with vibrations!
With Haptic vibration technology available since iPhone 8, play a melody in Music Vibes, and you can literally feel the frequencies of a melody by the changes in vibration. Hold the bottom of the phone on your jaw or the side of your head and feel the music!
A fascinating and thrilling exercise for the deaf or hard of hearing (or just curious!) to feel music as vibrations.
If you are able to hear but would like to experience the vibrations without audio, you can simply switch audio off. You could also place your device on a hollow box (such as an empty tissue box), and you will be able to hear the haptic vibrations bouncing around inside the box!
• Play and record tunes on the piano
• Load up preset tunes
• Listen to the audio, or feel the vibrations!
• For a small in app purchase, load up a huge package of Christmas classics!
Q: How is it possible for the deaf to feel music through vibrations?
A: Bone conduction!
Did you know that Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the most famous musical composers of all time, was almost completely deaf? Beethoven discovered a way to hear the sound of the piano through his jawbone by attaching a rod to his piano and clenching it in his teeth. He received perception of the sound when vibrations transfered from the piano to his jaw. This has proven that sound could reach our auditory system through another medium besides eardrums and the other medium is our bones. This is now known as Bone Conduction.
Compatibility: Music Vibes is compatible only with iPhones since iPhone 8, and requires at least iOS 13.
