This app allows guests to immerse themselves in the garden and learn from our self-guided virtual tours. The app offers several tours, allowing the user to guide themselves through the garden and learn at their own pace. The tours include images, descriptions and audio. Choose you language and explore the beauty and zen of the Japanese Friendship Garden. Users can also purchase tickets and memberships with convenience. Already a member? JFG members will be able to access their NEW virtual membership cards within the app.

SD Emergency

Disaster Preparedness Starts With You Your family may not be together when disaster strikes, so it is important to plan in advance: how you will contact one another; how you will get back together; and what you will do in different disaster situations. The SD Emergency app contains disaster preparedness information, like: • The ability to create your own emergency plan • The ability to build an emergency supplies kit And when disaster strikes, the SD Emergency app will keep you and your family informed with: • Emergency updates • Interactive emergency maps • Shelter locations • ShakeReadySD Earthquake alerts from USGS • Interactive earthquake maps from USGS Notification: A known defect exists in this release in which, under certain circumstances, earthquake reports are not displayed in the app. This defect does not affect Earthquake Alert functionality. Plus, the app features a recovery section with resources during the aftermath of disasters. The County of San Diego Office of Emergency Services (OES) created the SD Emergency app to better prepare and inform San Diego County residents and visitors about disasters.
