What is the Rooted Carrot Co-Op? Our mission is to open a member-owned, full-service grocery store in Cedar Falls. Food Co-ops work differently than regular grocery stores. Co-ops are owned by the members, who purchase a share in the co-op and become member-owners, thereby enjoying several benefits and responsibilities as owners of the store.
